Description: Project U- A Safe School’s initiative under the Guam Polic Department provided a summer mentorship program to youth by collaborating with various organizations to bring a holistic approach to mentorship. As a Safe Schools Partner, the Guam Behavioral Health & Wellness Center’s Project LINC was responsible for Wellness Wednesdays, a component of the summer program that addresses various mental health educational topics such as mental health awareness, coping skills, suicide prevention, etc. participants will learn the importance of incorporating mental health strategies to expand active participation and collaborating among peers and professionals.
